A leading distributor within the FMCG industry are searching for a Finance & Operations Manager to join their team. You will join a friendly team and will manage and implement improvements in accounting, IT & operational procedures.
Responsibilities
- Full monthly management account responsibility with commentary for Head Office
- Supervise and take full responsibility of the external auditors.
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Managing the finance team - 2 staff members
- Team development and training
- Maintenance of cash flow & forecasting
- Cash management & bank reconciliation support
- VAT returns & submission
- Corporation, payroll, PAYE & VAT Tax payment control with HMRC
- Stock control supervision and capital employed management
- Assess / implement insurance requirements in line with group policy
- Supervision of expenses
- Currency forward contract in line with the budget and purchase
- Liaison and support to GM on HR issues
- Implement, suggest & improve procedures in all areas of responsibilities
- Reporting
- Systems Management of Sage 200 standard software and other systems
- Excel
Your Experience
- PQ, Qualified or QBE within a similar finance role
- Experience in leadership with a strategic vision
