A leading distributor within the FMCG industry are searching for a Finance & Operations Manager to join their team. You will join a friendly team and will manage and implement improvements in accounting, IT & operational procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Full monthly management account responsibility with commentary for Head Office
  • Supervise and take full responsibility of the external auditors.
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Managing the finance team - 2 staff members
  • Team development and training
  • Maintenance of cash flow & forecasting
  • Cash management & bank reconciliation support
  • VAT returns & submission
  • Corporation, payroll, PAYE & VAT Tax payment control with HMRC
  • Stock control supervision and capital employed management
  • Assess / implement insurance requirements in line with group policy
  • Supervision of expenses
  • Currency forward contract in line with the budget and purchase
  • Liaison and support to GM on HR issues
  • Implement, suggest & improve procedures in all areas of responsibilities
  • Reporting
  • Systems Management of Sage 200 standard software and other systems
  • Excel

Your Experience

  • PQ, Qualified or QBE within a similar finance role
  • Experience in leadership with a strategic vision
