A leading Supplier of bespoke fuels is hiring for a rare opportunity to lead the UK expansion of high-quality, high-performance FMCG fuel products. This will be a dual role in driving both sales growth and supply chain development. Responsible for launching direct operations in the UK and taking ownership of the go-to-market strategy and commercial relationships.
This role suits an operationally focused and sales-driven individual, who can shape the UK strategy, build key relationships and scale up the supply chain operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver the UK go-to-market strategy for a premium fuel product tailored for small engines and specialist machinery.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to increase sales with existing and new business.
- Set up and manage supply chain operations, including warehousing, transport logistics, service level and partner agreements.
- Initiate and grow commercial relationships with customers in DIY retail, garden and landscape supply, agricultural and trade-focused services.
- Act as the main liaison with the Buying teams.
- Educate stakeholders on product benefits.
- Lead commercial contract negotiations - pricing, terms of sale and delivery conditions.
- Work with internal teams to optimise processes and commercial readiness.
- Monitor and analyse revenue and KPIs.
- Lead UK sales forecasting activities.
Experience:
- 5 years in B2B Sales.
- Sector experience - Fuels, Chemicals, Energy or DIY industry (B&Q etc) or similar.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills with a commercial mindset.
