Noble Recruiting is delighted to be supporting a local authority to recruit an Executive Liaison Support Supervisor on a full-time, temporary basis. Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to be onsite a minimum of 3 days per week. Please note that this post will require a standard Disclosure and Barring Certificate.

The Opportunity: This post holder will be based within the Legal and Democracy Support Team, supervising the teams providing specialist high quality administrative and clerical support to Executive Liaison Officers, including support for the Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Leader of the Council.

Accountabilities:

  • Act as a go-to resource for expertise in specialist support services to the Council's executive and provide support for the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of the Council.
  • Ensure that all duties of the support and specialist support officers are undertaken to a high standard, managing the allocation of resources within the Support Team according to priorities which may change from time to time.
  • Organise busy periods and diary management to ensure that the team is covered to take ad-hoc requests in addition to the standard workload.
  • Work closely with the other Supervisors within the service and the elections specialist to ensure appropriate support is planned for and provided throughout the year, ensuring council priorities and objectives are met.
