Our welcoming Client has a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor who is looking for a fresh challenge in a fast-paced environment with excellent benefits detailed at interview stage!

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you'll work closely with our Client's Commercial Envoy Divisional Director to support procurement and commercial administration across allocated projects. This is a full-time, office based role (opportunity to work out a hybrid solution following onboarding) suited to someone with a sharp eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and a genuine interest in construction.

Main responsibilities:

  • You'll take ownership of key procurement processes, materials tracking, supplier coordination, budgeting assistance and cost monitoring.
  • With multiple fast-moving projects on the go, you'll be a vital link in ensuring materials arrive on time, budgets stay on track, and communication flows seamlessly across teams.
  • Procurement of building materials (from schedules), bracketry & metalwork (from drawings) – tendering, following up to receive quotes on time, analysing quotes, discussing with the QS, tracking against budgets, negotiating with suppliers, drafting and placing purchase orders.
  • Update these packages on the procurement schedule (excel).
