Our welcoming Client is currently seeking an experienced Test Engineer.
Main responsibilities of the role include:
- Offer & complete fault finding to component level on a wide range of Electronic products
- Follow schematic and circuit drawings
- Fabricate test jigs in line with each order specification
- Testing assembled PCBs
- Write & update test specs and procedures as relevant and ensure all records are accurate and maintained daily.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven background in fault finding to component level on a wide range of electronic products including analogue and digital circuitry
- Experience with ICT, XJTAG or Labview would be advantageous
- Must have working experience and sound knowledge of understanding requirements of quality standards & build practices
- Working experience recently with soldering and rework skill-set
- Competent computer skill-set
- Driver & own transport is required due to the location of this Client
- Qualified to HNC/HND level or having obtained an Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship is essential for this position.
