A client I am working with are hiring an Assistant Procurement Manager to join their team.

Contract: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.

Do you want to be a part of helping to shape the future of our Procurement service for a local government? You will lead a large number and variety of sourcing projects, working with stakeholders across these Councils and pushing forward collaborative procurement within the partner Authorities.

  • Lead the development, maintenance and implementation of all strategies.
  • Work closely with Senior Managers regarding commercial and financial viability, offering different options for each project.
  • Manage suppliers ensuring they are achieving the performance standards set out in the contract.
  • Lead projects and tenders.
  • Ad-hoc duties.
  • Understand Procurement law.
