Noble Recruiting are currently recruiting a confident and experienced Air-Conditioning Engineer for a field-based role with company vehicle and great package options to join our friendly and proactive Client located in Southend-On-Sea, Essex.
Key Benefits on offer:
- Salary: £40,000 - £47,000 per annum DOE
- Position: Full time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out PPM, fault diagnosis; first-time fixes and system repairs
- Reactive maintenance and electrical repairs or Air conditioning repairs as required
- Attend site meeting
- Procure materials and equipment to carry out works
- Installation work for domestic and commercial sites throughout the UK (and opportunities for work in Europe is available too)
- Ensuring all appropriate technical and compliance paperwork is completed as appropriate and in a timely manner.
Person Experience:
- Extensive experience working on air conditioning Units.
- Write up informative reports / quotes for the internal teams
- Experience with carrying out routine maintenance tasks, fault-finding and reacting to breakdown call-outs
- Have knowledge of safe working practices and experience with completing routine PPM Tasks
- Experience of maintenance, testing and fault finding on a variety of equipment including HVAC systems and lighting is desirable.
Refrigeration or Air Conditioning Specific Qualification (Not being F-Gas) such as the following:
- NVQ level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Small Refrigeration.
- City & Guilds Refrigeration and Air-conditioning (7189) Level 2 or 3
- City & Guilds Refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump systems (6090) Level 3 only.
- F-Gas Category 1 (City & Guilds 2079, was 2078 Safe Handling of Refrigerants)
