We are recruiting for a reliable Warehouse Operative to join our client’s busy warehouse team based in West Thurrock, Essex.
This is a permanent warehouse role, ideal for someone who enjoys hands on work, being part of a team and keeping things moving in a busy logistics environment.
Key responsibilities
- Loading and unloading containers
- Handballing goods and using pump trucks
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately
- Moving, stacking, labelling and wrapping pallets
- Preparing goods for dispatch
- Stock replenishment and stock consolidation
- Handling goods safely to reduce damage
- Working with the warehouse team to meet daily deadlines
Experience required
- Previous warehouse experience would be an advantage
- Physically fit and confident with manual handling
- Able to read and follow picking lists accurately
- Reliable, punctual and happy working as part of a team
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
