We are recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver to join a busy business based in Southend-on-Sea. This role involves multi‑drop deliveries, HIAB operation, customer deliveries, vehicle checks and some yard support when required.
Duties
- Multi‑drop deliveries
- Loading and securing products safely
- Checking loads against customer orders
- Driving safely and within tachograph laws
- Operating the HIAB safely to offload goods
- Manual offloading when needed
- Completing proof of delivery
- Vehicle checks and reporting issues
- Supporting warehouse and yard duties
Requirements
- LGV Class 2 licence
- HIAB certificate
- Current CPC Digital Tachograph Card
- Multi‑drop delivery experience
- Building materials delivery experience
- Good customer service skills
- Reliable and professional approach
