Noble Recruiting are working with a creative business in Southend on Sea who are looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to join their team on a 12-month maternity contract. This is a varied, hands-on design role working closely with the Creative Director and Digital Strategist across branding, digital, web, print and marketing projects. The role would suit a confident Graphic Designer with strong creative foundations, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple design projects at once.

Key responsibilities:

  • Creating brand identity work and visual brand systems
  • Designing web layouts and digital assets
  • Producing print design and production-ready artwork
  • Creating social media graphics and campaign content
  • Supporting ongoing marketing and digital collateral
  • Working from initial concept through to final delivery
  • Speaking with clients by phone and email
  • Joining client meetings and presenting design ideas clearly
  • Managing deadlines across a varied workload

Skills and experience required:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Graphic Design role
  • Strong design fundamentals across layout, branding and visual systems
  • Confident working across both digital and print design
  • Experience producing artwork for print and digital use
  • Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
  • Figma experience would be beneficial
  • Motion graphics or After Effects knowledge would be desirable but not essential
  • Confident communicating with clients
  • Organised, reliable and able to manage your own workload
  • Happy working as part of a small, close-knit creative team
