The predicted salary is between 49000 - 49000 £ per year.
You will be based from West Horndon, Essex, covering customer sites and installations mainly across the South East, with some wider UK travel.
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out mechanical maintenance, repairs and overhauls
- Work on pumps, turbines, valves, gearboxes, conveyors and coolers
- Fault find and diagnose issues on rotating machinery and heavy engineering equipment
- Use measuring equipment including micrometres, DTI's and alignment tooling
- Complete workshop and field service work
- Support installation, commissioning, planned projects and outages
- Produce clear site reports, condition assessments and recommendations
- Work independently across customer sites
Experience required:
- Mechanical fitting or mechanical engineering experience
- Background in heavy engineering, power generation, industrial services or similar
- Strong rotating equipment knowledge
- Experience with pumps, turbines, valves, gearboxes or similar equipment
- Fault finding, repair, installation or commissioning experience
- Good technical reporting and measuring skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Able to pass security clearances for client visits
- Flexible to work away from home when required
- Available for call out on a 1 in 5 basis if required
Desirable experience:
- Power generation experience
- Prime movers and balance of plant knowledge
- OEM pump or turbine experience
