About the Role
Noble Recruiting are supporting a long-standing client in Basildon who is looking for an experienced Embroidery Machine Operator to join their production team. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining multi-head embroidery machinery to produce high-quality garments, supporting production targets, and ensuring standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain a six-head Happy Japan embroidery machine (experience with Tajima, Barudan, or SWF also beneficial)
- Set up, frame and load garments and fabrics for embroidery
- Interpret and work from embroidery design files (DST, EMB etc.)
- Carry out thread changes, tension adjustments, and daily maintenance
- Inspect finished garments to ensure quality standards are met
- Support the wider production team when required
Requirements
- Previous embroidery machine experience (minimum 1 year preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Knowledge of different fabrics and embroidery techniques is an advantage
