Key responsibilities- Set and run CNC machines
- Operate manual and second operation machines where required
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Use micrometers and measuring equipment to tight tolerances
- Carry out first off inspections and job run checks
- Maintain machine efficiency and quality standards
- Complete daily maintenance check sheets and cycle timesheets
- Support production targets, on time delivery and quality procedures
- Minimum 2 years’ experience setting and running CNC machines
- Experience within aerospace or defence engineering is essential
- Confident reading technical drawings
- Good understanding of inspection, quality and tight tolerances
- Willingness to learn grinding and additional machining processes
- Driver with own transport due to the company location
