Noble Recruiting are recruiting for a Qualified Electrician to join an established electrical contractor based near Billericay, Essex. This is a permanent position offering a salary of £45,000 to £50,000 per annum, with a company van, fuel card and discretionary bonus. The role will mainly involve electrical site work across London, with flexibility to travel across the UK when required.

The successful candidate will have experience in domestic electrical work, commercial electrical installation, electrical maintenance and fault finding. You will also support projects involving CCTV, intercom systems and fire alarms.

Electrician Duties
  • Carry out electrical installation, maintenance and repair work across domestic and commercial sites
  • Complete electrical testing, fault finding and diagnostics
  • Work on electrical wiring, fixtures, equipment and site installations
  • Support projects involving CCTV, intercom systems and fire alarm works
  • Read technical drawings, wiring diagrams and electrical schematics
  • Use hand tools, power tools and electrical testing equipment safely
  • Work closely with project managers, site teams and other trades
  • Ensure all electrical work meets current safety regulations and industry standards
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Qualified Electrician
  • Domestic and commercial electrical experience
  • Electrical installation and electrical maintenance experience
  • Relevant electrical qualifications, such as City & Guilds Gold
  • CSCS Card is essential
  • Full UK driving licence is essential
  • Strong fault finding and testing experience
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and technical manuals
  • Excellent health and safety awareness
  • Able to work alone and as part of a wider project team
