Noble Recruiting are working with an established business in Basildon to recruit a Customer Service Associate within their Supply Chain team. This is a key role for someone with strong customer service, administration or order management experience, ideally gained within a regulated industry or supply chain environment.
As a Customer Service Associate, you will act as the link between customers and supply chain operations, helping to ensure orders, shipments, inventory and customer requirements are managed smoothly and accurately.
Key responsibilities- Process customer purchase orders accurately and efficiently
- Support outbound shipments from internal warehouses, 3PL providers and CMO partners
- Monitor distributor inventory levels and trigger replenishment orders
- Support bulk allocation and stock allocation processes
- Monitor risks to customer service, including supply delays, transport issues and batch release delays
- Keep customers updated on backorders, delays and fulfilment timelines
- Escalate product complaints, adverse events and quality issues to the Quality team
- Support customer account set up, contract pricing checks and customer master data accuracy
- Prepare standard service reports and support service improvement activity
- Remain aware of product strategies, promotions and customer requirements
- Experience within supply chain, customer service, order management or administration
- Background within a regulated industry would be highly beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and confident communication skills
- Good organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working with internal teams, customers, distributors and third party providers
- Able to work accurately in a busy, process driven environment
