We have a fantastic new opportunity for an experienced candidate with Import freight experience with Deep Sea knowledge and our Client's strongest area of operations is Far East Ocean imports for over 45 years!!
Your Role
- Liaising with various customers, suppliers, and subcontractors, including shipping lines, hauliers, and
- depots.
- Raising internal files and preparing invoices.
- Processing supplier invoices and addressing any discrepancies as well as monitoring vessel arrivals.
- Organising collections and deliveries to ensure customer deadlines are met.
- Following up after delivery to confirm customer satisfaction and explore further opportunities for service.
What we are looking for
- A proven track record of at least two years working for a small to medium-sized freight forwarder.
- Experience with
- CNS and
Destin8 is essential.
- Strong attention to detail / Good communication skills and a friendly personality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Excellent mathematical and English skills.
- A strong and dynamic team player.
Own transport is essential due to the location of this Company.
