Noble Recruiting have a wonderful opportunity for you, we are looking for an experienced Import Operator to join an established team in West Thurrock, Essex.
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum DOE
This is a permanent, full time position based on site.
This is a wonderful opportunity to take full autonomy handling sea freight import shipments through to the end covering both FCL & LCL
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all freight bookings are handled and processed and coordinate with oversea agents.
- Manage bookings, schedules and any documentation issues/queries.
- Oversee haulage coatings when arranging all final deliveries, quote shipments.
- Support Customs with clearances and prepare or process instructions accordingly.
- Engage with customers throughout the booking process.
What we need from you:
- Confident and outgoing individual.
- Recent experience within Sea Imports Operating.
- Knowledge of both FCL and LCL movements.
- Knowledge & use of Incoterms and Microsoft Office is desirable.
- Customs clearance understanding is desirable.
- Own Transport is essential due to the location of the position.
- UK resident and the right to work in the UK.
