Production Operative Stanford-Le-Hope, Essex Permanent Position, Hours: 3 weekly rota offered / Full time role. (Earlies: 5am -13:30pm, Lates: 13:00pm – 21:30pm and Nights 21:00pm – 5:30am) FREE PARKING ON SITE + COMPANY BENEFITS OFFERED SALARY - £38,000 pa We have an excellent opportunity for a Production Operative to join an established Company in Stanford-Le-Hope as a Trainee within their specialised decanting areas.
The main purpose for the new role is: Under the supervision of the Production team leader, execute the daily blending plan as set out by the production planning and logistics schedule.
Ensuring that activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner, following company process and maintaining quality.
ROLE: Undertake site operations ensuring safe, efficient, accurate and correct execution/administration of:
- Tanker receipts and despatches
- Blending and product movement operations
- Decants
- Housekeeping standards (including waste fuel handing, general tidiness, stock rotation)
- Equipment care standards (equipment husbandry and use of MRS) Work with team leader to execute daily and weekly blending plan though:
- Communication of progress
- Read, understand and execute instructions as per written works order documentation
- Provide immediate response to blending issues during day to day operations
- Identification of operational efficiencies and opportunities within the production plan
- Heavy lifting may be involved - Physically fit and able to complete all duties within the role.
- Act as appointed fire marshal Assist in other scheduled and ad-hoc activities to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the site. PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Worked within a similar position with Production/Manufacturing environment in the UK in the last 6months.
- Strong ability to translate written operational instructions to practical execution
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of following Health & Safety regulations within a Manufacturing setting
- Confident to commit to the above detailed shift pattern consistently.
- Driver with own transport is essential due to the location of the company.
