We are looking for an Ecommerce Specialist to support sales, trading and development on our digital storefronts. You will be responsible for updating website content, building product and landing pages, and generating reports on website performance and e-commerce metrics. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving online sales and building exceptional digital experiences.

Reports To: Senior Ecommerce Manager

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Build and manage product and landing pages, ensuring they are optimized for both user experience and SEO.
  • Regularly update website content, including product listings, merchandising, promotions, banners, and landing pages to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Oversee briefing and creation of site assets.
  • Collaborate with the design and development teams to ensure web content aligns with brand standards and marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee the product launch schedule working with Marketing and Digital teams to ensure products are prepared to go live on time.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Digital teams to align and deliver promotions and key campaigns on site.
  • Conduct regular audits of the website to identify and correct any issues related to broken links, formatting, or outdated content.
  • Support the Development teams in development sprints, running post development testing.
  • Track and analyze website performance metrics, including traffic, conversion rates, bounce rates, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Generate regular e-commerce reports and dashboards to share insights and suggest improvements.
  • Use tools such as Google Analytics, BigQuery, and BigCommerce to analyze trends and monitor the performance of promotions, products, and pages.
  • Provide recommendations to improve user experience, increase conversion rates, and reduce cart abandonment based on data analysis.
  • Assist with the implementation of promotional campaigns and digital marketing strategies on the e-commerce platform.
  • Assist in managing product inventory online, coordinating with the warehouse and logistics team to ensure product availability is accurately reflected on the website.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to website functionality or product data discrepancies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, customer engagement, and development to ensure cohesive e-commerce operations.
  • Communicate updates, changes, and new developments related to the e-commerce site to relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors or developers when necessary to manage site enhancements and improvements.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, e-commerce, business, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in e-commerce coordination, website management, or digital marketing.
  • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (e.g., BigCommerce, Magento) and CMS (Content Management Systems).
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Hotjar or similar reporting tools.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Experience with SEO and digital marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing tools and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles.
  • A keen interest in beauty.
