A rare and exciting role has arisen at a US law firm for an experienced Corporate lawyer to join its London office in a Corporate Practice Manager role.Responsibilities This firm is seeking a lawyer to work collaboratively with the Corporate group and further the firm\’s strategic objectives of training, developing and retaining excellent lawyers. Responsibilities will include managing staffing procedures, working with partners to develop training programmes, liaising with the business development team to plan and coordinate practice group meetings and client training meetings, assisting with adopting legal technologies, managing the lawyers\’ appraisal process, mentoring lawyers and supporting innovation projects.Qualifications This varied role would suit an experienced Corporate lawyer, preferably with M&A and/or Private Equity experience gained at a major law firm, with significant previous experience in a practice management role.
