This role requires a motivated and ambitious lawyer to work within the Corporate team who gain meaningful experience in respect of all aspects of public and private mergers and acquisitions work, including share and asset sales, joint ventures and shareholder arrangements as well as general corporate advisory work.
Responsibilities:
- Work across the deal life-cycle, advising on preliminary agreements (non-disclosure agreements, exclusivity agreements and term sheets), conducting due diligence and disclosure exercises, and be involved in drafting and negotiating key deal documents.
- Interact with colleagues in London and internationally as part of a global firm.
- Be granted autonomy and a high level of responsibility along with business development opportunities; all within a supportive framework in order to gain the experience to push for partnership.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Qualified lawyer with the capability to handle both public and private M&A work and general corporate advisory matters.
- Experience across deal life-cycle activities, including NDA, exclusivity, term sheets, due diligence, and drafting/negotiation of key documents is preferred.
- Ability to work with colleagues across offices and international teams.
