This leading US firm\’s City-based Antitrust & Competition team advises on the full spectrum of EU and UK competition law and regulatory matters. The practice is recognised for handling complex, high‑profile merger investigations before the European Commission and UK authorities, as well as coordinating multi-jurisdictional merger control and foreign direct investment approvals.

The team is seeking to recruit a junior associate (1–2 PQE) in London, with training in London or Brussels and a clear focus on antitrust and competition work since qualification. The ideal candidate will bring London‑market experience from a firm with a strong corporate M&A practice, together with exposure to the European Commission and UK competition authorities and experience managing cross‑border regulatory approvals.

The role offers early responsibility within a highly collaborative and international team, with regular interaction with colleagues in European offices, New York and Washington. The successful candidate will combine strong academic credentials with excellent drafting, communication and negotiation skills, a commercial and business‑oriented mindset, and the confidence to work independently while contributing effectively to complex, team‑led matters.
