Are you a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) who has transitioned into sales and is now looking for the "next big step" in your career? We are representing an award-winning, science-led startup that is disrupting the industry with a revolutionary approach to antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Our client is looking for a dynamic professional to lead their expansion across the North of England and Scotland. This isn't a role for someone who wants to maintain the status quo; it’s for an ambitious individual who wants to leverage their clinical roots to win new business and build a legacy in a high-growth environment.
The Role
- Strategic Growth: Transition from territory management to high-level networking with corporate groups, JVPs, and clinical committees.
- Clinical Innovation: Work closely with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to demonstrate how this patented technology can eliminate the need for traditional medications and improve patient outcomes.
- Multi-Species Expansion: While the focus is on companion animals and equine, you will have the autonomy to open doors in the zoo and exotic sectors.
- Direct Impact: Report directly to the Head of Sales, providing market insights that will actively shape the company's UK commercial strategy.
The Successful Candidate:
- Recent Clinical Roots: You have been a Registered Veterinary Nurse or Veterinarian with recent clinical experience, giving you the immediate credibility to speak the language of the practice.
- Commercial Track Record: You have a few years of successful sales experience under your belt (or a demonstrably commercial experience).
- The "Hunter" Mindset: You are resilient, tenacious, and genuinely excited by the "win" of bringing a new, life-changing product to a practice.
- Excellent Communicator: You can simplify complex clinical science into a compelling business case for clinical directors and business owners.
The Package
- Base Salary: £40,000 – £50,000.
- Bonus: Uncapped 20% performance bonus.
- Benefits: Premium package including private healthcare, pension, and your choice of a company car or car allowance.
- Culture: A management style that prioritises quality over quantity and total professional autonomy, no micromanagement.
