I am recruiting on behalf of a rapidly expanding and highly respected company within the animal health sector. Due to their continued growth, they are now building a brand new sales team focused specifically on developing their presence within the agricultural trade and merchant channel. This is a key strategic investment for the business, and they are looking for a driven, commercially minded sales professional to play a pivotal role in building territory success and strengthening relationships across this market.

The Role

As Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building and developing a new territory, selling a portfolio of animal health and nutritional products, with a strong focus on ruminant livestock.

  • Developing and growing relationships within the agricultural trade and merchant channel
  • Building a new territory from the ground up, identifying and securing new business opportunities
  • Supporting merchant partners and their teams to drive product awareness and sales
  • Conducting dual calls on-farm and providing support alongside merchant customers
  • Acting as a brand ambassador and increasing visibility and market share within your territory
  • Managing your territory proactively, planning and executing effective sales strategies

About You

We are looking for a motivated, proactive individual with a genuine passion for agriculture and animal health. You will ideally have:

  • Proven experience in sales, business development or territory management (3 years +)
  • Experience selling into the agricultural trade or merchant channel
  • Strong commercial awareness and the drive to build a successful territory
  • A qualification in agriculture, animal science or a related field (desirable)
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • A self-starting attitude with energy, ambition and resilience
