Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Lead Technical Manager to manage the day to day running of all the sites within the business, providing Management cover where needed.
- Lead on the research and implementation of technical innovations that can improve performance.
- Monitor, analyse, and benchmark key performance indicators (KPIs) across crops, including European Production Efficiency Factor (EPEF), Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR), growth rates, and mortality to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain strict biosecurity and welfare protocols, ensuring all sites consistently exceed assurance scheme standards while maximizing bird comfort and health.
Requirements:
- Proven practical experience within modern commercial broiler production.
- A strong understanding of environment management, and the variables that impact EPEF and crop results.
- Passionate about pushing performance boundaries, minimising inputs, and optimising output without ever compromising on bird welfare.
- A high level of personal accountability, self-motivation, and the resilience required for multi-site agricultural operations.
- Ability to interpret production data and turn insights into actionable on-farm improvements.
- A valid driver’s license (essential for multi-site travel).
