Job Title: Territory Manager – Large Animal

Location: South West Scotland & Northern Ireland

Working Pattern: Remote, with frequent travel

Reports to: Director of Operations


The Opportunity


Are you passionate about large animal health, confident building relationships and motivated by achieving commercial results?

We’re looking for a Territory Manager to take ownership of an exciting territory across South West Scotland and Northern Ireland providing driving sales and providing support for the company’s ruminant and equine products.

This is a varied, autonomous role combining sales, technical support, customer education and business development. You’ll work closely with veterinary practices, vets, farmers and key industry influencers, becoming a trusted source of knowledge while driving growth across your territory.

You’ll have the freedom to manage your territory using your local knowledge and commercial experience, supported by a highly professional team.


Key Responsibilities


  • Drive sales and business development across the territory, identifying and converting new opportunities.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with veterinary practices, vets, farmers and key influencers.
  • Promote and provide technical support for the company’s ruminant and equine products.
  • Deliver CPD sessions, veterinary training, farmer talks and on-farm training.
  • Develop and manage an annual territory sales plan, including customer targets, call plans and sales activity.
  • Monitor market and competitor activity and provide valuable market intelligence.
  • Maintain accurate customer and sales information through Salesforce.
  • Work with colleagues to support marketing initiatives
  • Contribute ideas to sales, marketing and product development.
  • Ensure all activities meet relevant regulatory, pharmacovigilance, GMP+ and company requirements.
  • Manage customer feedback and complaints in line with company procedures.


What You’ll Bring


  • Experience in veterinary, animal health, agriculture or a related large animal environment.
  • Knowledge of the ruminant and/or equine sectors.
  • Proven experience in field sales, territory management, business development or a technical commercial role.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence presenting technical information to vets and farmers.
  • A commercial, proactive and self-motivated approach.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across South West Scotland and Northern Ireland.
  • Good IT and CRM skills.
