Field-Based - Dorset / Somerset / Cornwall / Devon

Our client, a well-established business within the agricultural sector, is seeking an Agricultural Business Development Manager to cover the Southwest region. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to develop a successful career in a field-based role, managing relationships with farmers, identifying new business opportunities, and representing a high-quality product offering to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the southwest territory and drive its ongoing growth
  • Build strong relationships with farming customers across the region
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities
  • Spend time in the field meeting customers and understanding their needs
  • Deliver a consultative approach, providing solutions that add real value
  • Manage your pipeline and territory activity effectively using CRM systems
  • Represent the business professionally and develop long-term customer partnerships

About You:

  • A strong background in the agricultural, farming or animal health industry (or a related sector)
  • Minimum of 1 year sales experience (or in a customer-facing role)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated and organised approach
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Full UK driving licence
