My client is a fast growing global pharmaceutical company who are looking to hire a Territory Manager covering Scotland, Lancashire and Cumbria. This is an excellent opportunity for an established Territory Manager to join an innovative manufacturer who are supplying products to veterinary practices across the world.

The role requires somebody who is experienced at managing a territory and who is comfortable selling products to veterinary professionals at practice level. In addition, this professional will need to be adept at communicating effectively the benefits and technical superiority of the portfolio through regular practice visits, meetings and seminars.

A Territory Manager's primary role is to develop business in a profitable and sustainable way by achieving the annual sales budget for the set territory.

Key areas of responsibility:
  • Maximising sales opportunities with current and existing accounts.
  • Development of strong technical and commercial knowledge of portfolio and relevant competitors.
  • Deliver professional CPD to vets and nurses.
  • Attending sales meetings and promotional shows as required.
  • Promoting products as directed to drive sales through an effective mix of sales techniques.
  • Compliance with relevant internal and external standards.

The ideal candidate MUST be able to demonstrate a proven track record in Animal Health/Human Health, FMCG within Territory sales. Excellent salary (DOE) and benefits package (Private Healthcare etc) as you would expect from an industry leader.
