Noble foods are an independent feed milling supplier within the UK market place.

Originally founded in the late 1950’s we have expanded our activities throughout the UK providing quality feeds from Devon and Cornwall to Eastern Scotland.

Noble Foods currently have six milling sites in, Scotland, North Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Midlands and the Southwest.

Supplying around 800,000 Tonnes of feed per annum to the Pig and Poultry industry.

What Are We Looking For

We are looking for an engineering graduate to join our team, with a view to eventually lead the project engineering activities within our business.

  • The position entails the Design and Procurement of feed mill installations including:
  • Mechanical engineering.
  • Producing engineering designs, specifications and drawings using Auto CAD.
  • Producing Flow diagrams, P&I Diagrams.
  • Structural Engineering aspects of working with a specialist consultant
  • Civil Engineering aspects of working with a specialist consultant
  • Electrical engineering, a knowledge of this would be an advantage.
  • SCADA based mill control systems, via PLC’s.
  • Services incl Steam, Water, Compressed air etc.
  • Experience of process pipework.

Working with and management of established contractors in all aspects of construction within the feed milling environment.

Provide effective contractor management, utilisation and control of third‑party engineering suppliers and contractors to ensure agreed designs, schedules and standards of quality.

You will also provide engineering knowledge to assist the Site Operations Director, Site Managers and Engineering teams with planned maintenance utilising our PPM system.

You will also maintain asset registers for all sites.

You will work to drive forward Energy efficiency and reduction, drive forward Productivity and Quality improvement and assist with financial Planning and Control of Capital Expenditure projects (currently in excess of 4m per annum).

The ideal candidate

You will have completed a BSc in preferably in Mechanical Engineering.

You will have a some knowledge of Health and Safety, Environmental engineering, CDM, PUWER and EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) testing and maintenance.

You will be within commutable distance to our Mill in Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire and be willing to travel to any of our Mills as a project needs.
