Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site HGV Class C+E Driver role based in Greater Nottingham. The driver will transport goods safely and efficiently between Noble Foods sites, farms, and customer locations, ensuring timely deliveries and collections. Daily tasks include completing vehicle checks, loading and unloading products, securing loads, and maintaining accurate delivery documentation. The role involves communicating with transport planners and site teams, following all road safety and company compliance standards, and representing Noble Foods in a professional manner when interacting with customers and partners. Occasional early starts, late finishes, or weekend work may be required to support operational needs.
Qualifications
- Strong truck driving skills with proven experience operating heavy goods vehicles and trailers.
- Valid HGV Class C+E license (equivalent to CDL Class A) and an excellent driving record.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with transport teams, site staff, and customers.
- Customer service skills to provide a professional, courteous experience during deliveries and collections.
- Up-to-date Driver CPC qualification and a valid digital tachograph card.
- Knowledge of UK road traffic regulations, health and safety standards, and safe loading practices.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle checks and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience in food, agriculture, or FMCG distribution is an advantage.
