What You’ll Be Doing
- Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll be part of a close-knit team that keeps the factory running like clockwork.
- You’ll take on a mix of mechanical and electrical work, from tackling breakdowns to planning proactive maintenance and driving improvement projects.
- Your day-to-day will include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) with a proactive approach.
- Quickly and efficiently repairing machinery to keep production on track.
- Contributing to continuous improvement and engineering KPI goals.
- Taking ownership of your time and projects to reduce downtime.
- Getting involved in site and equipment upgrades to make a real difference.
What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on engineering experience.
- A practical, can-do attitude — this isn’t a desk job!
- Multi-skilled background with a recognised qualification (ONC, NVQ Level 3 or higher) in electrical and mechanical engineering, or a completed apprenticeship.
