We’re recruiting a Senior National Account Manager to play a pivotal role in driving growth across our retail customer base. This is a high-impact, senior commercial role with full P&L accountability, clear growth objectives, and the backing of a business investing confidently in its future. Depending on your experience and strengths, you’ll focus on one of two key growth areas:
- Value-Added Eggs (Chilled & Frozen): Driving expansion of our cooked and innovative egg portfolio through major multiple retailers, with a strong emphasis on innovation, NPD, and new business development.
- Shell Egg Category Leadership: Leading and growing our established shell egg business, managing two major multiple accounts and delivering sustainable, profitable growth through outstanding execution, partnership, and category insight.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Owning and delivering sales, revenue, and growth targets
- Full P&L responsibility for major multiple retail accounts
- Developing and executing account plans to drive long-term value
- Building and strengthening senior customer relationships
- Negotiating and securing long-term commercial agreements
- Identifying and converting new business opportunities
- Collaborating cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, marketing, category, and product development
- Supporting and delivering a compelling innovation pipeline
- Providing accurate forecasting, reporting, and performance updates to senior leadership
About you: You’re a commercially astute account leader who thrives in a fast-moving retail environment and enjoys turning strategy into results. You’ll bring:
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking
- Solid understanding of UK food retail dynamics and consumer trends
- Proven experience in contract management
- Confident presentation and reporting capability

Experience & qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field
- 3–5+ years’ experience in sales or business development within the food retail industry
- Track record of delivering revenue growth and account expansion
