Summary Of The Role: The Graduate Management Accountant will provide financial insights and support to the sales and marketing teams. Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and assisting in monthly management accounts preparation.
About The Role:
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying areas for improvement
- Collaborate with other finance team members to ensure coverage across roles
Key Accountabilities (This is not exhaustive):
- Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Assist in annual budgets and monthly forecasts
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual commercial reports for leadership
- Work with the Financial Reporting team during year-end audits
- Support sales teams with insights and challenge assumptions
- Monitor budget performance, providing insights and recommendations
- Collaborate on costings for customer pricing
- Ensure sales pricing accuracy in the system
- Reconcile customer rebates
- Support Accounts Receivable and Payable teams
- Identify process improvement opportunities
About You:
- Qualifications: Degree in Accounting & Finance; ambition to pursue ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Experience: No prior experience required
- Skills: Numerate, detail-oriented, proficient in Excel and IT, analytical, excellent communicator and relationship builder
- Personal Attributes: Collaborative, ownership-minded, courageous, integrity-driven, adaptable, and committed to excellence
