As a Civil & Engineering Project Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of projects, from initial design through to construction. This role demands a proactive leader capable of managing various project components, including budget control, timeline adherence, site health and safety, and contractor coordination. You'll engage with stakeholders to foster partnerships and identify risks, ensuring seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage project designs and specifications using CAD and Microsoft tools.
- Define project schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress.
- Lead project teams and ensure all activities adhere to health and safety and quality standards.
- Manage contractors and ensure compliance with CDM requirements.
- Prepare project reports and conduct presentations for stakeholders.
- Research industry advancements and implement new processes and equipment.
- Mechanical or civil engineering degree or equivalent.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably with PRINCE 2 certification.
- Strong knowledge of food/agriculture production processes and automation.
- NEBOSH or IOSH qualification, with solid Health & Safety understanding.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work away from home as required by project demands.
