Operational Training Team Leader – Leicester

We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Operational Training Team Leader to join our manufacturing team in Leicester.

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on training, capability development, compliance and people development, alongside day-to-day Team Leader responsibilities.

The role

  • Lead and coordinate operational training across production
  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready training records and competency matrices
  • Deliver inductions, skills training and competency assessments
  • Identify training needs and close skills gaps
  • Coach and develop departmental trainers and team members
  • Support GMP, food safety, H&S and audit requirements
  • Drive a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence

What we're looking for

  • Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing or production
  • Previous experience as a Team Leader, Supervisor, Trainer or Training Lead
  • Experience delivering workplace training and competency assessments
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, food safety and Health & Safety
  • Strong communication, coaching and organisational skills
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
