Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday
About the role: We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Farm Auditor to assess, monitor and drive compliance with industry, retailer and brand standards across both our company‑owned and contract producer farms. Working closely with the Agriculture Systems and Standards team, you will play a key role in ensuring consistency, integrity and continuous improvement in our farm assurance processes.
Key Accountabilities of the role:
- Farm Assessments & Compliance: Conduct BEIC Lion Code (subscriber self‑audit) farm assessments on all Noble Foods company‑owned and contracted farms within your region on a six‑monthly basis to evaluate compliance. Complete annual Tesco and M&S farm assessments (with potential additional retail compliance requirements as they arise) on all Noble Foods company‑owned and contracted farms within your region to ensure retailer standard compliance. Work with the wider Agriculture Team to ensure all Noble Foods company‑owned and contracted farms within your region meet brand compliance requirements including Happy Egg Co and other industry standards (RSPCA, DEFRA). Carry out a minimum of two Noble Foods farm assessments annually in other regions, as directed by the Agriculture Systems and Standards Manager, to support transparent and consistent auditing practices across the business. Train producers in specific modules such as Poultry Health and Welfare, and Biosecurity as required for the Poultec Lion Poultry Passport.
- Non‑Conformance Management: Take full ownership of all identified non‑conformances, ensuring they are accurately documented, actioned promptly, resolved within agreed timeframes, and logged in line with company processes and assurance scheme expectations.
- Continuous Improvement & Collaboration: Provide constructive feedback on audit requirements, standards and practices to the Agriculture Systems and Standards Manager. Support the ongoing evolution and improvement of the Noble Foods farm assessments framework through insight, challenge and proactive engagement. Work collaboratively with producers—whether company‑owned or contracted farms—to ensure they meet all required standards and drive improvements where necessary.
Shared Accountabilities:
- Health & Safety responsibilities: Follow the health and safety policies and procedures. Report any hazards, incidents or injuries to the team leader or manager. Use the personal protective equipment and clothing provided. Cooperate with the team leader or manager on health and safety matters. Participate in health and safety training and induction.
- Social & Environmental responsibilities: Demonstrate awareness of the social and environmental impact of your work and strive to minimise any negative effects. Follow the company's policies and guidelines on sustainability, ethics, diversity and inclusion, and health and safety. Support your team members and collaborate with other colleagues to achieve the company's social and environmental goals. Seek opportunities to learn and improve your skills and knowledge on social and environmental issues relevant to your role.
About You:
- Skills, Knowledge & experience: Data Analysis – ability to review, analyse and report on data to identify issues and make recommendations. Experience with assessing farm operations to ensure compliance with regulations. Excellent integrity – looking to maintain the highest of standards. Ability to effectively communicate and influence. Being able to build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders. Ability to work with integrity to conduct audits without influence. Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Technical knowledge of poultry desired but not essential; any agricultural experience welcomed.
