Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 09.30am - 18.00pm flexibility is essential to cover holidays

Salary: £13.41 p/h

What are we looking for? We are looking to recruit energetic and passionate people to support the production team by receiving product into the factory; experience is not necessary as all training will be provided! The role involves the following duties:

  • Ensure all necessary paperwork is complete and up-to-date
  • Audit compliance against the QMS, GMP, Food Safety, Fabrication & HACCP controls
  • Raise non-conformance against relevant site, customer and 3rd Party Standards
  • Effectively communicate and support the operational team to implement the appropriate & necessary corrective action
  • Review & follow up to ensure corrective action has been effective and embedded into the site
  • Conduct sampling for microbiological & chemical analysis
  • Logging samples onto external lab system and communication with the lab regarding samples and results
  • Support with NPD trials, Prepros and production launches
  • Provide technical support & advice to operational team
  • Work with operations to help facilitate complaint investigation
  • Work as one team to ensure that the site is audit ready every day
  • Prepare & Facilitate taste panels & ensure results are accurately communicated
  • Conduct validation & verification checks against CCP & Food Safety Controls being conducted by operations
  • Calibration of measurement equipment against schedule
  • Read, understand and follow all guidelines relating to chemicals and equipment
  • Adhere strictly to all onsite HACCP procedures

The site is committed to being “audit-ready” at all times. Therefore it is imperative that site hygiene, health & safety, and document control are all in line with customer specifications at all times.
