What Are We Looking For? We are looking to recruit energetic and passionate people to support the production team by receiving product into the factory; experience is not necessary as all training will be provided! Key Accountabilities of the Role:
- Inspection: Visual removal of materials that do not meet the required standards.
- Denester: Loading production packaging into the production flow.
- Bed end: Processing semi‑processed units into outer case receptacles.
- Box line: Loading and labelling finished goods onto transportation vessels.
- Safe Working: Promote a safe working environment by reporting, escalating and behaving in a way that supports a safe and positive wellbeing operational environment.
- Monitor and Control: As the production flows, keep an eye on quality, whether print or product based, and reprocess as required.
- Reporting discrepancies to leadership team: Escalate where production is either not meeting the expected quality standards or customer specification, and any impacts to the production flow.
- Following expected Processes and Procedures: Follow procedures set out in organisational documents, assist all team members with startup, changeover and postproduction activities.
- Changeovers and start up: Setup equipment in line with standard instruction and training. Escalate any faults prior to operation.
- Cleaning: Use provided cleaning equipment, assist on changeover, postproduction and general cleanliness of the area.
- Training: Promote a positive working environment for new starters and agency staff by teaching and escalating when issues arise.
- Communication: Communicate with stakeholder departments to ensure enough materials to maintain production flow.
- Timekeeping: Clock in before shift and clock out after a shift. Take recognised breaks and be present in expected positions on time.
