About the role:

To provide senior operational and administrative support across Business Operations and Administration, with a focus on enabling delivery of the ERP implementation project. This is a flexible role that bridges administration, coordination, and team support, taking ownership of a mix of project activity, key administrative processes (e.g. gradings, PODs), and Team Leader support or cover as required, while working closely with the Coordinator and Manager across multiple areas of departmental responsibility. Accountable for delivering high‑quality, timely work, coordinating and prioritising workloads across the team, contributing to project outcomes, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining strong stakeholder communication.

Key Accountabilities of the role – IT:

  • Operational Coordination & Administration
  • Deliver accurate, compliant, and timely operational and administrative processes
  • Take ownership of complex or high‑risk tasks and act as an escalation point for queries
  • Coordinate and prioritise workloads across administrative activity to ensure deadlines are met
  • Maintain and continuously improve documentation, SOPs, and audit trails
  • Support financial and commercial processes (e.g. invoicing, reconciliations, reporting inputs)

Project & ERP Support:

  • Contribute directly to ERP project activity, including testing, tracking, reporting, and documentation
  • Work closely with the Business Operations Manager to manage priorities, risks, and deadlines
  • Partner with the Coordinator and wider team to support delivery of project milestones
  • Take ownership of administrative activities across the team as required to release capacity for project delivery

Business Continuity & Risk Support:

  • Support the maintenance and accuracy of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans
  • Assist with scheduling, coordination, and documentation of testing activities
  • Track, monitor, and report on actions, risks, and improvements

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify and implement improvements to processes, systems, and ways of working
  • Lead or support operational improvement initiatives across Business Operations
  • Support implementation of ERP‑related or wider business changes
  • Use data and insight to improve efficiency, accuracy, and performance

Team & Stakeholder Support:

  • Provide guidance, coaching, and knowledge‑sharing across the admin team
  • Support onboarding and development of team members
  • Step in to support or cover Team Leader or Administrator responsibilities during absence, peak demand, or where required

Health & Safety responsibilities:

  • Always follow all health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Be aware of any health and safety risks in your work area and take appropriate steps to manage them.
  • Report any hazards, incidents, or injuries to your manager as soon as possible.
  • Use any required personal protective equipment (PPE) or clothing provided for your role.
  • Take responsibility for maintaining good health and safety standards in your work and support improvements where needed.
  • Take part in any required health and safety training or induction sessions.
