Are you an experienced HR Advisor who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced, evolving business? We’re looking for a confident, hands‑on HR professional to join our small but ambitious HR team, supporting a growing domiciliary and supported living organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership, build your experience across complex HR work, and play a key role in our growth journey.
The Role
This is not a “sit back and be told what to do” role. You’ll be working closely with the HR Director and Group HR Manager, managing a varied and high‑volume workload across:
- Employee relations casework (disciplinaries, grievances, absence, performance)
- Supporting branch managers with day‑to‑day HR advice
- TUPE transfers (in and out) linked to local authority contracts
- Acquisition and post‑acquisition integration work
- Restructures, consultations and communications
- Policy reviews and improving HR processes
You’ll be the go‑to person for operational HR support, working in a true advisory capacity across multiple sites. This is a hands‑on, operational role supporting a growing multi‑site business.
Why this role?
- Be part of a rapidly growing organisation with multiple acquisitions planned this year
- Gain exposure to TUPE, M&A and large‑scale change projects
- Work in a lean HR team where your impact is visible immediately
- Opportunity to shape processes and build structure as we grow
- Develop into a more senior role as the team expands
- 33 days inclusive of bank holidays annual leave
- Flexibility in working hours and hybrid working
What we’re looking for
- CIPD Level 3 is essential but Level 5 is desirable.
- Has solid HR Advisor experience and can manage casework independently
- Is confident dealing with complex ER issues with minimal supervision
- Is a self‑starter – you don’t wait to be told what to do
- Thrives in a busy, high‑volume environment
- Is happy to roll up their sleeves and do everything from admin to complex cases
- Has strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Is calm, resilient and solutions‑focused
Experience in TUPE, care sector, or multi‑site environments would be a big advantage. This is a role for someone who wants to step up, get stuck in, and be part of something growing. If you’re looking for a structured, slow‑paced environment this probably isn’t for you. If you want variety, ownership and real impact then we’d love to hear from you.
