Qualifications
- Full Right to Work in the UK
- Level 2 NVQ or higher, although a level 3 is desirable
- Experience of managing a team
- 2+ years’ experience of working in care
- Fluent in English
- Full UK Driver’s Licence and have access to your own car
- A kind and nurturing personality
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
Responsibilities
- As a Team Leader you will be responsible for ensuring outcome-based care is delivered effectively and overseeing the welfare of clients within your local management area.
- Supervising and supporting your team by providing guidance, leadership and direction to care assistants to ensure they deliver high-quality care.
- Monitoring care plans by overseeing the implementation and review of care plans for clients, making sure that the care provided is tailored to their individual needs.
- Ensure compliance and standards are met by providing care that adheres to legal requirements, regulatory standards and best practices.
- Communication by acting as a point of contact between care assistants, senior management and other healthcare professionals.
- Assessing and reviewing your staff’s competencies and awareness while maintaining contractual obligations and CQC Guidance.
