We are looking for a full-time Team Leader to serve in our areas. If you have experience of leading a team and working in the care industry, then we’d love to hear from you.

Qualifications

  • Full Right to Work in the UK
  • Level 2 NVQ or higher, although a level 3 is desirable
  • Experience of managing a team
  • 2+ years’ experience of working in care
  • Fluent in English
  • Full UK Driver’s Licence and have access to your own car
  • A kind and nurturing personality
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure

Responsibilities

  • As a Team Leader you will be responsible for ensuring outcome-based care is delivered effectively and overseeing the welfare of clients within your local management area.
  • Supervising and supporting your team by providing guidance, leadership and direction to care assistants to ensure they deliver high-quality care.
  • Monitoring care plans by overseeing the implementation and review of care plans for clients, making sure that the care provided is tailored to their individual needs.
  • Ensure compliance and standards are met by providing care that adheres to legal requirements, regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Communication by acting as a point of contact between care assistants, senior management and other healthcare professionals.
  • Assessing and reviewing your staff’s competencies and awareness while maintaining contractual obligations and CQC Guidance.
