We are looking for a motivated Production Operative to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will operate machinery, assemble components, check product quality, and support packing and production processes while maintaining a safe and organised workspace. What you’ll be doing:
- Operate and monitor production machinery according to established procedures and safety guidelines
- Assemble components or parts according to specific instructions or blueprints
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Handle raw materials, components, and finished products safely and efficiently
- Package finished products appropriately for storage or shipment
- Clean and maintain work areas, machinery, and equipment to ensure a safe and organised workspace
- Complete production logs, reports, and other documentation as required
- Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to meet production targets and deadlines
- Follow all standard operating procedures, ensuring company and health and safety policy is adhered to
- Identify and report any issues or abnormalities in the production process, assisting in troubleshooting and resolving problems where needed
Who we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to consistently meet quality standards
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and demonstrates a strong work ethic and commitment to performance
- Proactive approach to health and safety, with a commitment to following procedures and maintaining a safe working environment
