We are looking for a motivated Production Operative to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will operate machinery, assemble components, check product quality, and support packing and production processes while maintaining a safe and organised workspace. This is a great role to come in and get full training in a supportive environment, with progression opportunities available.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Operate and monitor production machinery according to established procedures and safety guidelines
  • Assemble components or parts according to specific instructions or blueprints
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
  • Handle raw materials, components, and finished products safely and efficiently
  • Package finished products appropriately for storage or shipment
  • Clean and maintain work areas, machinery, and equipment to ensure a safe and organised workspace
  • Complete production logs, reports, and other documentation as required
  • Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Follow all standard operating procedures, ensuring company and health and safety policy is adhered to
  • Identify and report any issues or abnormalities in the production process, assisting in troubleshooting and resolving problems where needed

Who we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to consistently meet quality standards
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and demonstrates a strong work ethic and commitment to performance
