The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

Reporting directly to the Head of Health and Safety – UK, the successful individual will carry out repairs, improvements and maintenance across UK sites to ensure smooth running of the operation and support the business to work safely and to be compliant. The successful candidate will need to be located within a reasonable distance of one of our UK sites in: Biggleswade, Medway, Purfleet or Hemel Hempstead.

Main duties:

  • Carry out a variety of planned and reactive building maintenance tasks, which will be varied in nature and will include general building, joinery, tiling, painting, paving and external works.
  • Undertake general facilities support tasks, including furniture building and furniture removals, grounds and site clearance, and keeping areas clean and tidy generally.
  • Work individually or as part of a team to complete repair and maintenance tasks.
  • Manage and prioritise own workload in order to complete repairs in a timely manner.
  • Use relevant IT systems (Outlook and Citation) to record all work undertaken and related expenditure (Training provided).
  • Undertake regular safety checks on vehicles used for work purposes as required by Noatum policies and procedures to ensure that vehicles are safe and roadworthy (Training provided).
  • Adhere to Noatum Logistics health and safety policy and procedures, identify hazards and undertake point of risk assessments as required.
  • Communicate effectively with site General Managers and the Head of Health and Safety to minimise disruption to the operation when planning and undertaking building maintenance.
  • Carry out such other duties as required or delegated by the Head of Health and Safety.

  • Permit to work and RAMS.
  • Electrical lock out (training provided).
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly verbal and written.
  • Good time management with proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal skills for dealing with colleagues and customers at all levels.
  • Self motivated.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
  • Full UK driving license.
