Due to our exciting growth plans, Noatum Logistics is looking for Business Development Executives (Multimodal) to drive sales of the business’s freight, e-com, ISC (International Supply Chain) and core product set. In the role as Business Development Executive, you will be required to build and develop your own pipeline of business in co-ordination with the commercial teams to focus on winning new business for Noatum through a consultative, value driven sales approach.
We expect the successful candidate to constructively challenge our business to ensure our proposition and solutions are compelling to customers, whilst economically viable for Noatum Logistics and to also lead the expansion of services into new industry sectors and across modes / geographies.
Key Functions / Areas of Responsibility:- Support the growth strategy for Noatum Logistics freight, e-com, ISC and core product set
- Updating & maintaining CRM ensuring pipeline information is updated & accurate
- Responsible for new customer sales & onboarding with seamless business integration
- Prospecting new customers through lead generation & follow up
- Using marketing & business information to build long-term relationships with customers
- Identify & Upsell Noatum services as part of the sales approach to the existing customer base
- Increase sales and profit through fostering and strengthening the relationship
- Prepare and present analytical data, including monthly, annual reporting and future forecasting
- Collaborate with other stakeholders to provide an exceptional service
- Ownership of enquiries received through all communication channels
- Delivering specialist support and sometimes complex scenarios
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by participating in local trade, professional and network associations as a representative of the company.
- Delivering against individual objectives
- Use high levels of communication to provide a best-in-class service
- Leverage Noatum Logistics service network and capabilities to optimize customer wins
- Act as a main point of contact for all allocated customer queries or complaints with a methodical approach and a right-first-time outcome

- Experience in selling Ocean, Air and Road
- Positive change agent in the business, commitment to constantly evolving service propositions, profitable growth, and cost reduction
Location: England (Hybrid working) with occasional commuting to our sites for BD Meetings (Biggleswade, Birmingham, Egham, Hemel Hempstead or Medway)
