Duties:
- Checking in of freight on 2 different systems (ERTS freight and general freight)
- Locating freight in correct areas of the warehouse
- Inputting data onto computer systems
- Booking in of different types of freight
- Repacking of samples for exporting to other countries
- Enquiring that equipment is safe to use
- Daily bond checks to avoid any cross labelling
- Sorting and labelling cargo ready for exporting abroad
- Unloading and palletising freight for safe storage
- Liaising with the transport department on freight due in and size of vehicles required
- Ensuring that all documentation is correct
- Keeping warehouse clean and tidy
- Working to health and safety standards
