What will you be doing?

As we prepare to open the first hub of its kind in Calderdale, we need a Buildings & Premises Trustee to lead our search for a permanent home during this pivotal transition from a community project to a registered charity. You'll be joining a board that currently blends professional expertise with deep lived experience, including a MAT CEO, an inclusion specialist, an academic publisher, a psychologist, and a chartered accountant.

While we've seen incredible community momentum, our biggest challenge is moving from our current setup to finding, securing, and fitting out a permanent space that truly meets the needs of the families we serve. In this role, you will be guiding the board and founder on high-level property strategy, lease and acquisition decisions, and ensuring our future home is the right fit practically and financially.

Rather than managing day-to-day facilities, you will be the strategic lead on our property roadmap, helping us navigate planning, surveys, landlord negotiations, and fit-out considerations. We've had thousands of families and professionals join our community in just six months, proving the demand is there; we now need you to help us find the space to meet it.
