Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and hard-working individual to join our Animal Section Support Team, working across all six animal sections. This is a complex and rewarding role, and we expect applicants to have knowledge and practical experience of an array of animals. A strong work ethic, good team working and communication skills, and the ability to maintain high levels of hygiene are important to the role.

Key aspects of the role:

  • Support animal sections with full keeping duties, including providing support on days when staffing is low.
  • Deliver encounters and experiences to our visitors.
  • Drive the company vehicle for collection of resources, e.g., feed and veterinary supplies.

Applicants must:

  • Have a constructive and professional approach that strengthens team culture.
  • Have previous keeping experience (2 years minimum ideally).
  • Be familiar with the care required for a variety of species.
  • Be highly motivated.
  • Have high standards of hygiene when working.
  • Have a full, manual driving licence.

This is a full-time position working a 40-hour week on a flexible rota (including weekends and bank holidays).

Salary: Level 1 – Level 2 Keeper: Level 1: £25,792.00 per annum (£12.40 per hour). Level 2: £26,457.60 per annum (£12.72 per hour).
