We are looking to recruit friendly, bubbly, and hardworking individuals to join our Retail team on a Seasonal basis here at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm.

- showcasing local produce and fresh treats, you’ll be a key part of making every visitor’s day special.
This is a customer facing position so you must have a friendly and professional manner, our ideal candidates will have a flair for providing outstanding customer service, along with till experience and an eye for attention to detail.
What you could be doing
- Operating the tills and taking payments
- Dealing with customer queries, politely and efficiently
- Ensuring the farm shop / gift shop is presentable and ready for opening on time and is always kept clean and hygienic
- Serving ice-creams plus hot and cold drinks within our farm shop
- Animal food production and stock levels are maintained for busy periods. (This will require a level of physical fitness, i. e., lifting).
- Assisting with deliveries, unboxing and putting stock out in both shops.
- Tidy and clean tables and visitor areas in the farm shop
- Cleaning and hoovering in the gift shop.
About you
- People, People: You’re outgoing, helpful, and enjoy chatting with visitors of all ages.
- Team Players: You will be happy to jump in wherever needed.
- Till trained and cash handling experience.
- Capable of working efficiently under pressure.
- Reliable and Punctual.
- Experience of working within a Visitor attraction/Retail/Hospitality sector preferred.
- Current, Manual Driving licence is preferred, you must be able to get to this rural location.
Work Pattern
You will be required to work weekends, plus be flexible to cover sickness and holiday days as and when requested.
This seasonal contract will end as of
1st November 2026.
Salary
You will be paid the National Minimum Wage for your age.
