Noah's Ark Zoo Farm is looking to recruit a friendly, motivated individual to join our Visitor Operations team as a Park Ranger. You'll thrive in a busy, customer-facing environment and help with the day-to-day running of our award-winning zoo. We're looking for someone with a flair for outstanding customer service, you will be enthusiastic, hands-on, and ready for a role where no two days are ever the same.
Key Responsibilities:
- Helping visitors enjoy their day by being friendly, approachable, and responsive to questions and queries.
- Keeping play areas clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Carrying out general janitorial duties.
- Driving our tractor and trailer, providing commentary for visitors on board.
- Ensuring the zoo grounds are clean, tidy, and welcoming.
- Working regularly in our Ticket Office and Welcome Team.
About You:
- Friendly, outgoing, and charismatic, with a passion for working outdoors and engaging with the public.
- Hold a full, current manual driving licence and be a confident driver – Essential.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with visitors of all ages.
- Have experience delivering excellent customer service in retail, leisure, or hospitality setting.
- Maintain high cleaning and presentation standards.
- Be a reliable team player with a flexible, can-do attitude.
Work Pattern: Permanent, full-time role, 5 days per week, including one weekend in three. Must be willing to fit into the existing staff rota.
Salary: £12.21 per hour (Rising to £12.71 April 26)
